Cora Sandberg

Cora Evelyn Sandberg, age 89, died February 9th, 2021 peacefully with family by her side.

Cora was born to Jens and Martha Larson on April 16, 1931 in Grantsburg WI.

Cora graduated from Grantsburg High School and Polk County Normal, earning her Teacher's Certificate. She received her Undergraduate and Masters Degree at Superior State College.

She married Dale Sandberg on June 28, 1952. To this union Gary, Mark and Sara were born.

She taught school in the Grantsburg school district for 40 years. She was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her retirement spending time with friends at the Senior Center and mornings at the Kozy Kitchen.

Cora is preceded in death by parents Jens and Martha Larson and husband, Dale Sandberg.

Cora is survived by her sons, Gary and Mark Sandberg; daughter, Sara Sandberg; grandchildren, Tanner and Sierra Wolkerstofer, and brother Gene Larson and his wife Chris.

A private family service will be held on Monday, February 15th.
