Christopher Daggy

Christopher James Daggy , age 57, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Lexington MN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 27, 2017 in KY, while driving to his home in FL. Christopher was born on August 9, 1960 to Frederick and Grace (Schons) Daggy. He was a 1978 graduate of Centennial High School in Circle Pines, MN. He then went on to Century College and earned his welding degree while working at Schwing Repair LLC. He advanced his employment as a Welding Inspector, working on many large pipelining projects and often traveling for work. In his spare time, Chris enjoyed working on different projects which included, tile and granite work in his garage. He enjoyed duck hunting, bow hunting, fishing and was an avid golfer. Chris is survived by his significant other, Regina Grady; his children: Kayla Daggy, Angela Bernard and Travis Haga; sisters: Gretchen (Pat) Ellis, Nikki (Jerry) Wamhoff, Susan (James) Towley; sisters-in-law, Janice Daggy and Roberta Daggy; grandchildren: Taylor, Jaiden, Lily and Ava; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog and fishing buddy “Sammi.” Chris is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Sandra McGuire, Tom Daggy and Tim Daggy. A Mass of Christian Burial for Christopher Daggy will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM) at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 28460 County Rd H (just North of County Rd A), Crescent Lake, with Father Michael Tupa officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to help with expenses, payable to the funeral home.
