Charles Bennett

Charles J. Bennett, age 70, a resident of Siren died May 3, 2008 at Frederic Nursing & Rehab Center. Charles was born October 19, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert and Florence Bennett. Charles married Janice Beck on July 12, 1958 in Norwood, Iowa. Charles was involved in the Northeast Sportman Club, the Eagle Club in Minneapolis and the Moose Lodge in Siren. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, especially poker. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother and sister. Charles is survived by his wife Janice of Siren, children Michelle (Bruce) Snyder of Spring Lake Park, MN, Michael (Patty Kay) Bennett of Maple Grove, MN, Patrick (Lora) Bennett of St. Joseph, MN, grandchildren Nicholas, Jeremy, Daniel, Adam, great grandchildren Mikala, Aubree, sisters Sandra Stanley of Blaine, MN and Carla (Michael) Cardinal of Afton, MN, along with other relatives and friends. Memorial services were held May 7, 2008 at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Siren Chapel with Pastor Larry Beck officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Siren, Wisconsin.
