Chad Rossow

Chad Michael Rossow went to heaven to join his sister Ashley on October 11, 2013 at the age of 26 years. Chad was born on March 11, 1987 in Grantsburg, WI. to Carey and Teresa Rossow. He attended Elementary and High School in Webster, WI. Where he participated in hockey, baseball, basketball, football and golf. He enjoyed working in his teenage years in the lunchroom at Webster schools, the Waxie farm, Oak Grove Restaurant and the Webster Drive Inn. After graduation he went to work at the St. Croix Casino in Danbury for 7 years. At the time of his death he was proud to hold the position of Slot Manager. He was a loving, caring and giving young man and a wonderful father to his daughters Zoey and Deena. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working at the Casino and spending time with his family and friends. Chad is survived by his daughters Zoey and Deena Rossow and their mother Gail Bearheart of Danbury; his parents Carey and Teresa Rossow of Grantsburg; his brother Shane (Aimee Vaksdal); nephews Tristan and Riley; niece Isabella of Grantsburg; grandparents Audrey Ziegler of Hinckley, MN; and Carl Ziegler of Arkansas City, KS; great grandparents John and LaVerta Ziegler of Bruno, MN; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and his Casino family and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Ashley Anne, his grandparents Richard Sr. and Ila Rossow, uncle Dennis Rossow, aunt Linda Damewood and cousins Luke, Clarence and Austin. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM (visitation 12-2PM) at Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Grantsburg Chapel with Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Rossow, Jeff Sears, Tyler Starks, Josh Janssen, Matt Gillum, Jeremy Pardun, Dino Oustigoff and Shayne Staege.
