Celia M. Leehe, age 54, of Danbury, Wisconsin died Friday, December 12, 2008 at home, following her courageous battle with cancer. Celia was born May 17, 1954, daughter of Clinton and Lila Furuholmen in Manhatten, Montana, where she lived throughout her childhood. Celia and Lyle A. (Bud) Leehe were married on September 27, 1986 at Wilson Lutheran Church and lived in rural Danbury, Wisconsin. Celia enjoyed spending time with family and would often have a new delicious recipe to share. She was a wonderful cook – not only for the family, but also at restaurants and camps. She enjoyed reading and playing cards. Bowling was also a favorite pastime; making friendships and traveling with her league. Celia enjoyed the outdoors and would often share stories of fishing with her siblings in Montana. She was very fond of pets and they were also of her. Celia is preceded in death by her parents and infant sister. Celia is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband Lyle “Bud” of 22 years, Lyle’s son Steven (Tessie) Leehe of Jacksonville, FL, Lyle’s daughter Brenda James of Lincoln, CA, grandchildren Nathan, Derrick, Sean and Emily, mother-in-law Clarice “Toots” Leehe of Wilson, Wisconsin, brother Brian Furuholmen of Ada, OK, sisters JoAnne Brown of Webster, WI and Diana Furuholmen of Manhatten, MT, brother-in-law Sam (Janet) Leehe of Blountville, TN, sister-in-law Linda (Dean) Rambo of Spring Valley, WI, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial services are planned for Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wilson Lutheran Church, rural Wilson, WI, with Pastor Bert Schultz officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin.
