Carole Matie Paulson, age 80, a resident of Siren passed away on Friday, October 10, 2019. Carole was born on March 30, 1939 in Trade Lake Township, to parents, Clarence and Matie (McKenzie) Paulson. Carole was a 1957 graduate of Grantsburg High School.  She was employed at Parker Hannifin Corp for 25 plus years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Everett; sisters, Jean and Sharon; daughter in law, Lauann; sons in law, Jim and David. Carole will be sadly missed by her son, John Paulson (Rita Wenzel), her sister, Sandra Olson, brother, Joe (Judy) Paulson; grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Jordan and Dalton; 10 great grandchildren; and 9 nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Calvary Covenant Church in Alpha with Pastor Scott Sagle officiating.  A committal will follow at the Wood River Baptist Cemetery in Wood River Township.  Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.  Online condolences can be made at www.swedberg-taylor.com
