Carol Scheidt

Carol Ruth Scheidt , age 66, of Frederic, passed away on May 15, 2018 at her residence.
Carol was born on November 14, 1951 in Battle Creek, MI, to parents, Mary Lou (Langworthy) and Donald Casler. She graduated in 1969 from Gull Lake High School in Richland, MI.
On July 10, 1971, Carol married John Scheidt at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Augusta, MI.
Carol liked to spend time gardening, camping and traveling. She was a hard worker and there was nothing she couldn’t do or fix. Her occupation in life was love and she was truly devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She never missed a family gathering or her grandchildren’s school or sporting events.
Preceding Carol in death are her parents; siblings, Lynn Casler and David Casler; and beloved Airedale dog, Bailey.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, John; children: John A. (Amy) Scheidt, Scott (Julie) Scheidt, Robyn (Josh) Watt and Dawn Scheidt; grandchildren:
Johnathon, Natalie, Michael, Connor, Annalie, Riley, Lexie, Kalvin, Jadyn and Ian; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Gracie; siblings: Kathy (Jerry) Vander Roest and Donald (Joan) Casler; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4-8:00pm, with prayer service beginning at 7:00pm, at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home Grantsburg Chapel. The Memorial Service Mass will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:30am (visitation from 9:30am-10:30am) at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Frederic, WI, with Fr. Joseph Madanu presiding. A time of fellowship will follow the service.
