Carol Anderson

We are sad to share that Carol Jean Anderson, 88, formerly of St. Louis Park, MN and Barron WI died peacefully with family on March 11, 2025.

She was born on September 13, 1936, on her family's farm in Dresser, Wisconsin. After graduating from St. Croix Falls High School in 1954, Carol moved to Minneapolis, where she started a fulfilling career as a secretary for Walser Car Dealers. She dedicated many years of her life to the Walser dealership, eventually becoming the personal assistant to owner Jack Walser until his retirement.

She had a passion for gardening and a love for reading, often losing herself in books, crossword puzzles and nurturing her beloved gardens.

Carol is survived by her dear friend Sue Glumske of Menominee and many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by: her parents Alfred and Iva Schafer of Dresser, WI. Brother Ronald (Barbara) Schafer of St. Croix Falls, WI, and sister Dolores (Fred) Riegel of Dresser, WI, and her soulmate Boots Fuller.

Carol, you lived a full life, and you will be deeply missed by all who knew you. Rest in peace.
