Carla Molitor, age 80, of Grantsburg died April 11, 2013. Carla was born on January 15, 1933 in Milwaukee to Edward and Vera Reuter. On June 29, 1957 she and Chuck were married in Milwaukee at the Hope Lutheran Church. Carla taught school for 3 years in the Milwaukee School District before taking many years off to raise her family. She returned to teaching as a substitute teacher at Immanuel Lutheran School and then as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher 7 plus years at the Immanuel Lutheran School. After retiring, she was a substitute teacher for the Grantsburg School District. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and doing cross stitch. Her most favorite time was spent with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Edward. Carla is survived by her husband Chuck; her children Edward (Betty McCall) Molitor, Mary (Steve) Hoffman, John Molitor, and Steven (Carrie) Molitor; her grandchildren Daniel, Abigail(Mark Byers), Becky, Bryan and King Hoffman, Peter and Elisha Molitor and Alvin Molitor; along with other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, April 15, 2013; 5-8 PM Swedberg-Taylor Family Funeral Home, Grantsburg Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at Trinity Lutheran Church in Falun with Pastor Carl Heidel officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Hoffman, Peter Molitor, Bryan Hoffman, Elisha Molitor, King Hoffman, Alvin Molitor and Mark Byers.
