Budd Johnson

Budd Johnson, 84, of Siren passed away August 26, 2013 at Indianhead Medical Center. Budd was born in Siren on August 10, 1929 to Edna (Stenberg) and Herman Johnson. He worked for the County Highway Department as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He loved farming, playing the guitar and singing. He performed many times for weddings or just singing on the porch with his family. Budd is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Dean, his parents Edna and Herman and his brothers Kenneth and Wendell. He will be sadly missed by his four children, Jerry (Joyce) Johnson, Sandra (Dirk) Benzer, Bruce Johnson and Cheryl Johnson. Ten grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Janet Tripp, Chad Benzer, Lance Benzer, Troy Benzer, Kelly Dalhstrom, Bruce Johnson, Alissa Johnson, Dan Maurer, Carey Meyer and 26 great grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 5pm-8pm at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Siren. Funeral services will be Friday, August 30, 2013, 2pm at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Siren. Pastor Steve Ward will be officiating.
