Betty Olson

Betty Lou Olson, age 88, a resident of North St. Paul, Minnesota formerly of Frederic, WI died Monday, January 9, 2017. Betty was born in Chippewa Falls on May 31, 1928, the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Dahl) Hub. Betty was married to Edward Olson Sr. in Chippewa Falls on September 18, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Olson, Sr. on July 9, 2011; her parents; (brothers John (Tom) Hub and Richard Hub) She is survived by her children: Terri (Russell) Stone, Edward A. Olson, Jr., and Sherri (Russell) Larsen; her grandchildren: Jason(Chris) Olson, Joshua (Danielle) Olson, Jamie Olson, Jacob (Jenny) Stone, Matthew Stone and Emily Stone; her great-grandchildren: Taylor, Eli, Kya and Summer (Tom); sister, Catherine (Bob) Maloney; along with other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM (visitation 10-11 AM) at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg with Pastor Emory Johnson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Emily Stone, Summer Griffin, Jamie Olson, Chris Olson, Kya Olson, Jenny Stone, and Danielle Olson. Interment will be at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.
