Bernice Kelash

Bernice Elenore Kelash , 82, of Barron, WI, previously of Webster, WI, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Monroe Manor in Barron, WI.
Bernice was born on June 20, 1935 to parents, Frank and Alvina (Mallak) Graczyk in Foley, Minnesota.
On July 15, 1953 Bernice was united in marriage to Donald Joseph Kelash in Gilman, Minnesota. They made their home in Shoreview, Minnesota on Lois Dr. where Bernice was a homemaker to her and Donald’s five children. After their children were grown, she was employed by various retailers as a cahier, ultimately retiring from Kroger Corporation. In 1993, the couple moved to Webster, Wisconsin.
Bernice’s hobbies included cross-stitching, her flower garden, bird watching, playing cards, and her four legged friends, Sophia, Dogga and Lily.  But most of all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bernice is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Jerry Graczyk and Gladys Novak and 1 infant sister.
Bernice is survived by her children: James Kelash, Richard Kelash, Brad (Jan) Kelash, Mary Jo (Mark) Beyer and Karen (Jimmy) Hoff; grandchildren: Dennis (Devony), Stephanie (Mike), Jon, Christopher (Heather), Brandon (Marchetta), Kali (Matt), Jessica (Luke), Paige and Josh (Jamie); 21 great-grandchildren; siblings: Celand Graczyk and Frank (Janice) Graczyk; god-son, Kevin; special niece, Carol (Gene) Jensen; longtime friend and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Kelash; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00am (visitation from 9:30am – 11:00am) at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church in Webster with Father Mike Tupa officiating. Interment will be held at the Sacred Hearts Cemetery.
