Bernice Kalland

Bernice A. (Peterson) Kalland, age 94, passed away on January 3, 2016 in Spring Park, Minnesota, surrounded by loving family. Born on October 27, 1921, Bernice was raised in South Minneapolis, and was a longtime resident of Northeast Minneapolis. Bernice was a fun loving, classy lady who looked years younger than her age. She loved to travel, go shopping, and watch sports. She spent many happy days in the Webster/Webb Lake area visiting family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nels and Elfreda Peterson; brother, Ray Peterson; sister, Arline Anderson; her husband, Harold Kalland; sons and daughters-in-law: Steven and Veronica Kalland, and Richard and Mary Kalland; granddaughters, Roxanne and Tina Marie; great-granddaughter, Alycia; great-grandson, Joshua; and longtime companion, Glenn Martinson. Bernice is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Karayn and Ed Cunnington, and Patricia and Roger Udovich; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Louise Kalland; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016, at 1:30pm at the Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, WI. Interment will immediately follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery, Webster. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster.
