Beatrice Reese

Beatrice Bernice Reese, age 74, a resident of Webster, passed away on February 26, 2024, at home.
Beatrice was born on November 11, 1949, to Melvin and Bertha (Doriott) Buskirk in Solon Springs, Wisconsin.

She spent almost ten years living in New Orleans, Louisiana, during the 70’s, before relocating back home to Webster, Wisconsin in the early 80’s after divorcing her first husband. She worked at Wild Bill’s in the early 2000’s, and spent many years employed as a cashier at Wayne’s Foods Plus.

Beatrice enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting for others, especially afgans and sweaters. She was also active in pool and horseshoe leagues, excelling as top ringer.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Bertha Buskirk; sister, Rhunae Buskirk; brothers, Vernon Buskirk Sr. and Kelvin Buskirk; niece, Christal Honts.

She leaves behind her brother, George Buskirk; nieces, Sheila (Lorenzo) Simon, Missy Honts, Angel (Michael) Liljenburg, Alesha (Brian) Weiser, Audra (Bobby) Elkens, Barbara Buskirk, Kelly Jo Buskirk, Michelle Buskirk, Katrina Buskirk, Lynn Buskirk; nephews, Matthew Simon, Keith Buskirk, Vernon (Tammy) Buskirk, Marty Buskirk, and Scott Buskirk, many great and great-great nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Orange Cemetery in Webster, Wisconsin on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
