Barbara Jean Fritz , age 88, of Webster, WI, passed away at her home on February 10, 2020.
Barb was born on October 15, 1931, in St. Paul, MN, to parents, Mary (Aldrich) and Guy Clapper.
In 1965, Barb married Gerald “Jerry” Fritz. They raised two children, Brenda and Jeff. Barb cared for her family and worked at various places in Minnesota, California, Maryland, ultimately retiring at Clam Lake.
An avid antique collector, Barb loved frequenting garage sales and flea markets. She also liked hosting her own garage sales over the years. Barb enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors going for walks. She was a wonderful mother, devoted wife and loving grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Preceding Barb in death are her parents, Mary and Guy Clapper; and brothers: Thomas, Jack, Willard and Walter.
Barb is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry Fritz; daughter, Brenda (Derek) May; son, Jeff (Kathleen) Fritz; grandchildren: April (Lee) May-Swantkowski, Kyle (Vikki) Fritz, Garrett (Sarah) Fritz and Paul Fritz; great-grandchildren: Ada, Hugh and Philip; brother-in-law, Al (Ginnie) Fritz; sister-in-law, Toni Clapper; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Per Barb’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
