Barbara Blodgett

Barbara Anne Blodgett, age 81, of Danbury, WI. passed away quietly at home on May 11, 2024.
Barb was born to parents Robert and Madelyne Knowles on July 7, 1942 in River Falls, WI.
She attended school at St Mary’s Catholic School in New Richmond, WI and the Convent of the Visitation in St. Paul. MN. After graduating, Barb continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving her bachelors and master’s degree in psychology.
Barb met her husband, Denny, in February 1989. They were married in September of that year in Abilene, TX. They had a wonderful, blended family of five children.
Barb never met a person she didn’t like and tried to do good things for everyone. Her job as Director, Interfaith Caregivers of Burnett County meant the world to her. She performed her duties for over 20 years with all the love and hope for others that she could muster. She literally helped improve the lives of hundreds of people. Barb was one of a kind and made the world a better place.
Barb is survived by her husband of 35 years, Denny, children Kelsey, Trisha, Mike, Scott, and Lori, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brother Warren, and special friend Sara Rybak-Carlson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Madelyne Knowles and brothers Robert and Terry.
