Anne Kallman

Anne Sophia Kallman, age 97, of Grantsburg, WI, passed away at Continuing Care Center on Monday November 5, 2018
Anne was born January 16, 1921, to Oscar and Augusta Anderson on their family farm in the township of Wood River, Grantsburg, WI.
Anne attended 8 years at the Wood River country school and graduated from Grantsburg High School.
Anne married Donald Kallman in St. Louis, MO in 1941.  After his discharge from the Army they moved home to the family farm in Grantsburg.
Anne lived her entire life in the Grantsburg area.  She worked at several businesses in the area. Anne was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church and was church treasurer for many years.
Anne was very active in the Wood River homemakers and the ladies aid at Faith Lutheran Church.
Anne enjoyed traveling to Sweden 3 times and several sightseeing bus tours.  She also enjoyed family outings, annual family picnic, horse shows with her granddaughter, and several trips to see her grandchildren.
Anne is preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, John and husband of 46 years Donald Kallman.
Anne is survived by her sons, David (Kay) and Lloyd (Marilyn); grandchildren: Roxanne, Jeff, Kimberly, Kenneth, and Daniel; great grandchildren: Becky, Nikki, Paige, Corbin, Mitchell, Grace, and Zack; great-great grandchildren: Chloe, Ayden, and Akyer.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018, at 2:00 PM (visitation from 1-2:00 PM) at Faith Lutheran Church in Grantsburg with Pastor Mike Peterson officiating.
