Anita Reisewitz

Anita Louise Reisewitz, age 79, a resident of Grantsburg, WI, passed away on January 2, 2022 at the Burnett Medical Center.

Anita was born on September 26, 1942 to Louis and Anita (Eckberg) Daniel at the old Grantsburg Hospital. Anita grew up mostly in River Falls. Anita went to Owen for 1st grade, New Brighton for 2nd and 3rd through 8th grade were in River Falls. She graduated from Grantsburg High School. After graduating high school in 1960. Anita moved to New Brighton and worked at the New Brighton Bank and eventually moved back to Grantsburg where she felt most at home.

Anita married the love of her life Kenneth Reisewitz on March 23, 1973 in Iowa.

In Anita’s free time she enjoyed reading, sewing, watching old movies, listening to music from the 40’s and dancing but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her cats and dogs.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband; aunts, Virginia Rassett and Barbara Christenson.

She is survived by her children, Janet (Scott) Finch, Vicky (Mark) Drohman, and Timothy Reisewitz;
grandchildren, Jeremy Paulson, Justin Paulson, Jordan Paulson, Aimee (Andrew) Vaksdal, Abbey (Gilbert) Zambrano, Anita Finch, Connar (Sydney) Goetz, Cory Niles, Laura Drohman, Rebecca Drohman; great grandchildren, Eliza, Derick, Tristan, Riley, Bryson, Freya, Ariya, Josephine, Hazel, Davin, Melina, Camden, Elijah, Audrey; and many other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM (visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM) at the Central United Methodist Church in Grantsburg, WI with Pastor Jenny Lee officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery with pallbearers Jeremy Paulson, Justin Paulson, Jordan Paulson, Connar Goetz, Cory Niles and Andrew Bottleson.
