Alvera Jensen

Alvera Violet (Sanders) Jensen, age 68, a resident of Dairyland, WI passed away in Lino Lakes, MN on September 30, 2022 with her loved ones by her side.

Alvera was born on December 9, 1953 in St. Paul, MN to parents Clarence and Jeannette (Doubrava) Sanders.

Alvera graduated from Mechanic Arts in 1971. She worked at Liquipak, Remmele Engineering, and the St. Croix Casino Danbury. She also was a member of and volunteer treasurer for the GRRC Gun Club.

Alvera married Joseph (Joe) on August 18, 1990 in White Bear Lake, MN. In 2000, they relocated to Dairyland, WI.

Alvera enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing games, listening to Christian music, attending rendezvous, camping, other outdoor activities, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Alvera is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe; parents, Clarence and Jeannette; grandson, Bradley (Brad) Sear; sisters, Barb Schaffer, Bonnie Logan and Joyline Sanders; brothers, Verlin, Stephen and Harley Sanders, and friend and ex-husband Dennis Sear.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Diana (Steve) Peters, Debra (Adam) Pavlicek, Daniel (Nicole) Sear and Dawn (Matt) Haas; step-children, Dennis (Thea) Sear, Paul Sear, and James Sear; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Elijah, Annaliese, Alex, Micah, and Lukas; great grandchildren, Tori and Miley; sister, Diana (Ed) Bell; along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM (visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM) at the Siren Covenant Church, 7686 Lofty Pines Dr, Siren, WI 54872, with Pastor Brian Pardun as the officiant.
