Alquin Marty

Alquin Steve Marty, age 72, passed away at home on January 31, 2021. Alquin was born on June 28, 1948 in Bemidji, Minnesota to George and Wilhelmina (Frie) Marty.

Alquin married the love of his life, Beverly Moore on October 10, 1998 in Zimmerman, Minnesota.

Alquin worked at Southside Lumber in Rogers, Minnesota as a manager for 26 years.

Alquin was an avid storyteller and he enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Laura Jean; brothers, Jerome, and Ralph; sisters-in-law, Donna and Anne Blair; brother-in-law, Leonard Sr; nephews, Leonard Jr., Robin, and Joe.

Alquin is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, Trevor (Elisa) Marty, Jennifor (Tim) Neison, Allen (Donretha) Munich, Melissa (Aaron) Healy – Goldman, Tawnya (Bill Negrini) Cavanaugh, Audra (Paul) Dahlheimer, Peter Marty, Melinda (Fabian) Schlegel; sisters, Evelyn Binkley, Audrey (Ray Schmutz) Ahner; brothers, Dave (Sandra) Marty, Donnie (Helen) Marty, Marvin Marty; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rick Binkley, Eugene Marty, Ray Schmutz, Trevor Marty, Allen Munich, and Paul Dahlheimer.

A graveside service will be held on February 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Marty Family & Friends Cemetery in Bemidji, Minnesota.
