Allan Manthe

Allan C. Manthe, age 69, of Webster, WI, formerly of Waseca, MN, passed peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Allan was born on September 28, 1947 in Mankato, MN to parents, Nathalie (Tetzloff) and Earl Manthe. He attended and graduated from Waseca High School in 1965. After graduation, he went on to complete two years of Technical College. On February 14, 1967Allan enlisted in the United States Navy and on January 5, 1971 he was honorably discharged. On January 21, 1984, Allan married Jena Harding at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca, MN. Allan was employed by Brown Printing in Waseca, MN for over 33 years. In 2013, Allan and Jena moved permanently to the Webster area to live out their retirement years together. Allan enjoyed Nascar, fishing and his woodworking projects. Preceding Allan in death are his parents; brother, Steven Manthe; and granddaughter, Emma Morris. Allan is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jena; daughter, Shawna (Phillip Roberts) Kubat; step-children, Travis (Michelle) Morris, Tabetha (Matt) Mithun, Kimberlee (Eric Miller) Morris; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 1:00pm (visitation from 11:00am - 1:00pm) at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Webster, WI with Pastor Jody Walter officiating. Immediately following the service, military honors will be rendered. Interment will be held on April 28, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Woodville Cemetery in Waseca. A family gathering will be held following prayers at the cemetery. Pallbearers are Chaz Mithun, Tyler Mithun, Tianna Mithun, Caleb Kubat, Jimmy Kubes and Eddie Kubes. Honorary Pallbearer is Emma Morris. Memorials preferred to the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, WI.
