Alan Huberty

Alan Bruce Huberty ,70, of Danbury, Wisconsin previously of Apple Valley, Minnesota, put the tools away and closed the gang box on November 30, 2015 as the result of a 6 month illness. Alan was born in South Minneapolis to Jerry and Dorothy Huberty. He graduated from Minneapolis Vocational High School in 1963, and was a proud 50 year member of Pipefitters Local Union 455. He held several offices in his union and took great pride in a job well done. He was a craftsman. Al was in the U. S. Navy as a Seabee from 1970 to 1972 serving in Vietnam and Camp David. Al loved to sail and enjoyed many trips to the Caribbean and Apostle Islands with friends and family. With any luck he and Chuck are walking the beach in the BVI's. Al is survived by his wife of 46 years Magi, sister Lou Ann Olson (Dennis), brothers Doug, Dennis (Anna), David & many nieces, nephews & cousins. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Ft.Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin. Memorials preferred to the family for distribution.
