Adelade Johnson

Adelade Leanore Johnson, age 93, of Danbury, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Burnett Medical Continuing Care Center in Grantsburg, WI. Adelade was born on June 20, 1922 to parents, Arthur and Lily (Israel) Kringle in Webster, WI. On April 24, 1942 Adelade was united in marriage to George Johnson in Winthrop Harbor, IL. In life, Adelade enjoyed cooking, gardening, and building rock gardens, but above all else, Adelade liked spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. Preceding Adelade in death are her parents, Arthur and Lily Kringle; brothers, Arleigh Kringle, Allen Kringle, Lawrence Kringle and Laverne Kringle; and grandson, Billy Connors. Adelade is survived by her devoted husband of 73 years, George Johnson; children, Terry (Diane) Johnson, Richard Johnson, Debbie (Chuck) Mahlen and Cindy (Darrell) Connors; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great – grandchildren. A Memorial Service honoring Adelade’s life will be conducted on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Yellow Lake Lutheran Church in Danbury, WI with Pastor Myron Carlson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home in Webster, WI.
