Aaron Joshua Thompson, age 27, of Frederic, WI passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 24, 2017. Aaron was born on September 19, 1989 in Robbinsdale, MN. He attended and graduated from Frederic High School in 2009. After graduation, he attended college courses in Hertel, WI working towards a degree as a Renewable Energy Technician. Aaron was an aspiring tattoo artist. He was also an avid recycler and re-purposer. He could build anything out of anything. He enjoyed fishing, nature walking and riding his motorcycle. Aaron had a passion for food and was known to “eat” before he ate. But above all else, Aaron loved being a father and enjoyed every moment he spent with his boys. Preceding Aaron in death is his grandpa, Richard Thompson; grandma, E. Jane Cook; and his “baby T”. Aaron is survived by his sons: Joshua Shadow Thompson, Drake Samuel G.E.H. Thompson and Christopher Sterling Thompson; mother, Betz Dove Simmon; father, Gregory Thompson; brothers: Trevor Koch, Loren Pokela and Cameron Thompson; sister, Rachel Flores; grandparents: Tom Cook and LaVon (Elwood) Reike; mom of his beloved boys, Robin S. Haaf; beloved pitbull, Buddy; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 2-5:00pm at the Siren United Methodist Church. The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 3:33pm (visitation from 2:30-3:33pm) at the Siren United Methodist Church with Pastor Elwood Reike officiating.
