Jackson J. Merrill “Ognbekamig” age 40, a resident of Superior passed away on October 28, 2023.

Jackson was born on June 16, 1983 in Amery to Wynn and Andrea (Hart) Merrill.

Jackson married Nicole on May 26, 2023 in Superior, WI.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Andrea; great grandma, Clara; grandma Patsy Leona; sister, Wendy and aunt, Stephanie and cousin, Simone.

Jackson is survived by his wife, Nicole; sons, Jackson, Jr. (Nessa), Jensen, Jase, and daughters, Jaime and Kali; granddaughter, Blakelyn; his father, Wynn; brothers, James Merrill, Erik Whiterabbit and Brian Haver; sisters, Susie Merrill and Annie; niece, Arnella; his namesake, Eugene Hart, Jr.; along with other relatives and friends.

Friends may call on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the Maple Plain Community Center, Cumberland. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the center. Interment will follow at Maple Plain Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Lamont Belisle, Mark Stoner, Keith Hopinka, Jeremy Lambert, Brian Planque, Lester Merrill, Dustin Coon and JJ Christensen. Honorary pallbearers will be TJ Buck, Joe Bearheart, Thomas Hart, Stuart Bearheart and Frank Brewer.
